ACMI vs CPA Contracts
ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance): A comprehensive aircraft leasing arrangement where Pivot Airlines provides a complete operational package. Unlike traditional dry or wet leases, ACMI contracts offer a turnkey solution allowing airlines to rapidly expand capacity without capital investment or operational complexity.
CPA (Capacity Purchase Agreement): A contractual arrangement where an airline purchases a specific amount of capacity (seats or flight hours) from Pivot Airlines. Under CPA, we operate flights on behalf of the partner airline, who retains commercial control including route planning, scheduling, pricing, and branding.
ACMI Contract Components
Aircraft (A)
Fully certified and maintained CRJ 100/200 or Dash-8 Q100 aircraft configured to your specifications, including livery options and cabin configuration.
Crew (C)
Complete flight deck and cabin crews, fully trained and certified to Transport Canada standards, with recurrent training and crew management included.
Maintenance (M)
