Non-Punitive Reporting Policy
Pivot Airlines maintains a clear non-punitive reporting policy. No employee will ever be reprimanded for raising a legitimate safety concern. Participation in the Safety Management System is mandatory, and all employees are expected to report hazards or concerns using established reporting channels.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
Employer Responsibilities
- Provide a Safe Workplace: Ensure health and safety of every employee and person granted access to our workplace
- Training and Instruction: Provide all employees with information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to perform duties safely
- Hazard Communication: Inform employees of every known or foreseeable hazard and how to work safely around it
- Safety Equipment and PPE: Provide all required safety materials, tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment
- Health & Safety Committee: Establish and support active internal Health and Safety Committee
- Incident Investigation: Promptly investigate, record, and report all accidents, incidents, and occupational illnesses
- Continuous Improvement: Commit necessary resources to maintain and continually improve health and safety programs
Employee Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and training provided
- Use safety equipment and PPE as instructed
- Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately
- Participate actively in safety training and committee activities
- Take reasonable care to protect yourself and others
- Cooperate with health and safety investigations
- Refuse unsafe work when you have reasonable cause to believe it poses danger
