Human Rights Policy

Respecting and promoting human rights across our workforce, operations, and communities

Our Commitment

Pivot Airlines is committed to respecting and promoting human rights in all aspects of our business. We recognise that our operations can have an impact on the human rights of our employees, customers, suppliers, and the communities where we operate. We are dedicated to conducting our business in a manner that upholds the dignity and rights of all individuals.

This policy is guided by international human rights principles, including the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Our Workforce

We are committed to respecting and promoting the human rights of all employees. This includes providing a safe and healthy workplace, fair wages, reasonable working hours, and freedom from discrimination and harassment. We support the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining.

Our Operations

We conduct our operations in a manner that respects human rights. We assess the potential human rights impacts of our activities and take steps to prevent or mitigate any adverse effects. We engage with affected communities and stakeholders to understand and address their concerns.

Our Business Partners

We expect our suppliers, contractors, and business partners to share our commitment to human rights. We conduct due diligence to identify and address human rights risks in our supply chain and encourage our partners to adopt similar standards.

Our Communities

We strive to make a positive contribution to the communities where we operate. We respect the rights of Indigenous peoples and engage with local communities to understand and respond to their needs and concerns.

Modern Slavery

Pivot Airlines has zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour in any part of our business or supply chain. We are committed to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our operations.

Reporting Concerns

We encourage employees and stakeholders to report any concerns about human rights violations. Reports can be made through our Whistleblower Policy, and all concerns will be investigated and addressed appropriately.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to continuously improving our human rights performance. We regularly review and update our policies and practices, engage with stakeholders, and seek to learn from best practices in our industry and beyond.
