Our Commitment

Pivot Airlines is committed to maintaining a workplace that is free from discrimination and harassment. We believe that all employees deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or personal characteristics. This policy applies to all aspects of employment, including recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, compensation, and termination.

We comply with all applicable federal and provincial human rights legislation, including the Canadian Human Rights Act and applicable provincial human rights codes. Discrimination and harassment are not only unacceptable—they are illegal.

Protected Grounds

We prohibit discrimination based on the following grounds:

  • Marital and family status
  • Disability
  • National origin
  • Pardoned conviction

Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

  • Discrimination in hiring, promotion, or termination based on protected grounds
  • Harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment
  • Creating a hostile work environment
  • Retaliation against those who report discrimination or harassment
  • Bullying or intimidation
  • Offensive jokes, slurs, or derogatory comments

Reporting & Resolution

Employees who experience or witness discrimination or harassment should report it immediately to their supervisor, Human Resources, or through our confidential reporting channels. All complaints will be taken seriously and investigated promptly.

Retaliation against anyone who reports discrimination or harassment, or who participates in an investigation, is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.

Consequences

Violations of this policy will result in appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. We are committed to maintaining a respectful workplace and will take all necessary steps to enforce this policy.
